ABOUT Fishing

We are 3 owners who own some of the most spectacular places on the Rauma river, have a good knowledge of the river and offer guiding. We are local from Verma and  has been fishing in the river since childhood,  as our ancestors have done.

The river flows almost 65 km through the spectacular Romsdalen. The river starts from Lesjaskogsvatnet and flows through Romsdalen to Romsdalsfjorden at Åndalsnes.

The properties that we own:  Nyløvoll,  Sæther,  Søre Sæterbø,  Løkra,  Canes,  Good luck.

We own about 3 km of the upper part of the Rauma river, including the spectacular "Svarthølen". We can offer fishing  both for  beginners and for the most experienced who like challenges.This is a salmon dam with great variations, from almost still water to wild rapids, with some fantastic fishing holes in between. With the legendary "Svarthølen" which is the stopping point for the salmon migration in the Rauma river, here it is impossible not to be captivated by the surroundings.  Therefore, we offer 3 fishing zones for fishermen:Zone 1,Zone 2 andZone 3.

Verma is very quiet area. But there are more activities nearby: Ville Verma, Kylling bridge, Sag elva, Trollveggen, Romsdalseggen, Trollstigen and more. Verma local grocery store is about 3 km from the salmon fishing camp.
